It is ambidextrous, allowing smooth and consistent motion whether shooting with the strong or support side. The size and shape of the latches enable snag-free operation. The LCH features a raised lip at the rear that creates a seal at the back of the upper receiver to disrupt gas flow during suppressed fire.
