Its match grade 416R stainless steel barrel has polished crown/feed ramps, and is threaded. The upper also utilizes enhanced black nitride M16 BCG, lightweight forward assist, Radian Raptor-SD suppressor-optimized ambidextrous charging handle, and a direct impingement gas system.
