The Faxon 6.5 Grendel Gunner Barrel is machined from triple stress-relieve 416R stainless steel with extra between the chamber and the gas block to mitigate heat warpage and control barrel whip. Forward of the gas block, the 6.5 Grendel Gunner Barrel has a pencil profile to keep weight down and preserve ease of handling.
Faxon chambers their 6.5 Grendel Gunner Barrels to “Type 2” or .136" bolt face depths. Button rifles to 1-8" twist 5R rifling for accuracy, a bit of extra velocity, and easy cleaning.
